Cristi Ferkel: Cristi Ferkel is a visual artist born in Timisoara. He graduated the University of Fine Arts and Design in Timisoara, the painting department in 2008. I am intrigued by religion as a subject and spiritual theories, especially the eastern religion and in a lesser extent, European ones. This is reflected prominently in his own creation, where the numerous interpretations and reinterpretations try to get a clearer playback of ideologies and ideas. In other cases he creates connotations, symbols, characters, ideas, twists of ideas and theories all being on this fertile and vast land of ancient ideologies.
